Kneesaver 2k Handlebars

The Kneesaver 2k bars are a continuation of the Kneesaver line, but these were a more narrow shaped four piece handlebar. Just by looking at the 2k bars and the 90s Kneesaver 2 you can tell they’re much lighter in weight by comparison. Although the tubing was smaller by .3mm the 2k bars were still made of 100% 4130 CRMO.

I believe the first model came out in 2000 and none of them had a knurled crossbar. As for where these bars were made it’s possible they made in the Taiwan factory where the Haro frames were constructed

The end caps were open, the bottom bar on each end has the Haro chevrons stamped, and they had a sticker on the right, and left, front side of the bars. On the left back side you’ll see 4130 CRMO stamped. On most these bars they had two stickers that came on them. They never had a sticker that came in decal set from the bike they came on.
