Fusion Mega Pegs 4″ (Late 90s)

Haro Fusion Mega 4″ pegs were released some time in the late 1990s. This was the first shot at an anti-slip system on the pegs which was a screw (also known as a stud) that screwed into the top of the peg. (To keep your peg from rotating while grinding and loosening the wheel.) The later Haro Fusion Mega 4″ Spider Pegs which had a four-cross insert design. I believe they were geared towards street, vert, and park riders.

There’s three versions of the Mega 4″: Mega 4″ with studs for 3/8′ alxe, Mega 4″ Grooved with studs for 3/8′ alxes, and Mega 4″ Grooved threaded 26 TPI. The Fusion Mega 4” is really 4 1/4”. I’ll have a gallery for all three versions down below. Both the front and the rear pegs do not differ from one another except on some bikes I noticed that one set never has the studs in them out of the four.

The Mega 4″ with studs for 3/8′ alxe and Mega 4″ Grooved with studs for 3/8′ alxes are pretty much the same peg the only difference is that one is grooved and the other is smooth. As always all these parts were most likely made in the Taiwan factory where the Haro frames were constructed.
